2020 Pilgrimage Tour of Greece

From May 15th through May 29th of 2020 Fr. Bohdan and Dobr. Tania will be leading a pilgrimage tour of Greece.  We will be visiting Athens, Meteora, Santorini, and Crete.  The tour is arranged in such a way that participants will have the opportunity to visit and worship at holy sites like historic Churches and Monasteries; visit archeological and cultural monuments; partake of the social life of Greece; and as well have time to relax and enjoy the wonderful weather and natural beauty of Greece.

Father and Presbytera have led several of these tours in the past, visiting various islands and localities in Greece and Turkey. Next year's pilgrimage tour will be special in that we are visiting Santorini, as well as Crete.  While in Crete we will have the special blessing of worshiping at St. Titus Church in Irakleaon, as well as at the Chrisopigi Monastery in Chania.

We hope you will consider joining us on this spiritually, culturally, and personally uplifting pilgrimage tour.  Space is limited, and reservations will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis.

Full information, including cost and registration information, is given with the detailed itinerary.

Autumn Book Study

During the autumn months St. John's will host a book study entitled "When You Pray," using the book of the same title by L. Josephy Letendre.  The gatherings will be held on the last two Mondays of each month in the Church, beginning with Small Complie at 6:30 PM, followed by a discussion from 7 till 8:15 PM.  Books are available in the parish office, and everyone is welcome.

Saints and Strollers

"Saints and Strollers" is a program for parents with young children.  Our participants include both Orthodox and non-Orthodox, Ukrainian and non-Ukrainian families, who meet twice a month for spiritual support, fellowship, and Christian education.  The gatherings are held on Saturdays, beginning at 3 PM with fellowship, followed by various educational, cultural, and spiritual activities, and concludes with Vespers at 5 PM  (which is served almost exlusively in English).

We invite everyone with younger children, from toddlers through early primary school, to participate.
