Pascha 2020

This year the Paschal celebrations at St. John's were very different.  We were blessed to be able to serve the services, but in the absence of a congregation.  Thanks to the efforts of Vlad Sauchanka and Greg Hooper we were able to live stream the services, which were sung very beautifully by Fr. Yuri and Matushka Nikyla Hladio as well as Dobr. Tania.  On the Sunday following Pascha Father and Dobrodiyka went to the cemeteries for the traditional grave blessings, which were again done without the presence of the faithful.

We hope and pray that pandemic crisis will abate soon, so that we will again be able to open our parish to the worshipping community.

If you would like to enjoy the Paschal services again you may do so by visiting our parish YouTube channel (the link is provided on the first page of our web-site).

Christ is Risen! Truly He is Risen!
